Ok, like most people, I enjoyed the Hangover part one (although unlike many, I don't consider it the best thing since sliced bread) despite the krass humor and somewhat annoying character (Zack Gal. char).

So obviously I watched part two as well, but found it lacking.

Now I don't want to tear apart the movie for what it was, but I feel like it was missing something that the first part had. E.g. throughout the first part, they learn more and more about what happened the past night, slowly piecing together the whole thing bit by bit. Part of the humor came from seeing how it was all tied together.

In part 2, we never really find out what happened the previous night. We're fed tiny segments of it but most of it isn't revealed until the credits start rolling....which is a little too late imo. It kind of ruins the whole concept of the Hangover films really and I don't understand why they did it.

Maybe my memory is betraying me, but the Hangover one did a much better job in actually piecing together the events of the past night.
