<Dogwatch> is an alliance 10 man guild on the PvE server Shadowsong. We are a 3 nights a week late raiding guild aimed primarily at mature and evening only players who dont have massive amounts of time to dedicate to video games due to work, family etc, but who still have enthusiasm for clearing all content and raiding at a high level, banging ones head against hard modes and going for associated Glory achievements.
The majority of our members are former 'hardcore' or 25 man raiders who have been around since vanilla/TBC but dont have the time for 6 nights a week raiding anymore, and who have come to prefer the more friendly, less dramatic atmosphere of a 10 man raid group. The average age in guild is somewhat higher than usual, most members being late twenties/early thirties.
We aim to keep our raiding roster as small as feasibly possible to prevent us having to rotate people too often and to keep our team tight knit - as such, we do require a high level of raid attendance, however in return you can rest assured that we will not recruit anyone for bench warming positions; we only recruit people who we need and hence will hold a regular raid spot.
Our progress is currently 12/12 normals, 5/13 hard modes.
Recruitment:
- High priority for a mage, who has fire at least as an offspec and doesnt suck at playing it.
- Also considering a boomkin.
- We are also in the market for a paladin, holy main spec, ideally able and willing to fill in as either offspec where required.
We also welcome social (i.e. non-raider) applications from any class/spec.
Requirements:
- Aged 18+.
- High raid attendance. As mentioned above, we try to keep our raiding roster small to enable all of our raiders to face as little rotation as possible. We require members to be able to commit to 100% raid attendance over our 3 nights, barring any unforseen real life issues obviously.
- Enthusiasm for progress raiding. We arent interested in people who want a fast track to easy purps and only show up for farm nights, if killing new bosses and being part of guild firsts isnt what you are looking for, please do not apply. Same goes for if you arent really that enthusiastic about the game in general/lose interest when it comes to hard modes/are planning on quitting within a couple of weeks.
- Active in game/guild. As an adult guild we dont expect members to be online 12 hours a day, however no raid loggers or people with communication problems please.
