Not fair, the Blood council only have their empowered orb one at a time and not even that great.
AA on the other hand each have 2x 2hr to burn.
And Benediction is cheating

Is it just me or does the flying plush toy floating at the end like a cuddly pinyata sort of ruin the dramatic effect?

Thief (rogue) + Beastmaster
Paladin + White Mage (best tank and best healer in 1)
Warrior + Ninja (2 most annoying melee class in 1)
Samurai + Dragoon (silly combo)
Black Mage + Dark Knight (strongest magical offence and melee offence in 1 but has near 0 defence)

I enjoyed FFXI a lot too, even it is an really old game, and they have some brilliant raid idea (Nyzul 100 floor random tower climb, and Salvagae) that would work soooooo well in WoW but most likely never happen (who would want to part with their e-peen epics in a raid? I can imagine if Salvage happens in WoW, suddenly everyone will NEED all their own slot unlocked before everyone else).
The AA fight is still my favourite fight, in terms of epic-ness of the fight it is on par with Algalon fight for me. Well unless you cheat and bring 18 mages and 1 shot the damn fight >.>;

You took the easy route of fighting them 1 by 1, you should do the 5 AA same time :P
