It's extreme sexism, and the fact that it's accepted in today's society is an utter, sad travesty. If a man openly expressed, let alone preached the opinion that all women are [insert female stereotype here. Unintelligent? Slutty? You get the point], he'd be hunted down and would probably face legal trouble. Which is good, because it's a dumb prejudice and something we as a society should strive away from allowing to spread.

But if a woman speaks on equal levels about all men, hell, worst case scenario she's a little unpopular. What in the world is up with that?! How are real gender equalists (I prefer not using the term feminist as feminism nowadays is more about oppression than equality) supposed to make any progress when crap like this is still accepted in society? It's counter-productive, sexistic madness, and that's all it is.

This x100, got a student teacher to try and help us understand it and even she said it went too far, one perfect example of the above scenario is the show "loose women".

Don't get me wrong I don't think women are eg slutty or anything (or do I hate women), but thats my (above) opinion of society.

OT : What do I do? Talk to them, or ignore them, can't remember having run into a true "hater" yet.

I'm curious to see how people feel about certain female individuals with the mindset that "all men are pigs!" and "all men want to do is stick it in every woman they see!" and "all men care about is porn and boobs!" You get the idea. It isn't necessarily feminism (although it is in some circumstances), but more like... men hate.

I am female, and I cannot stand when other females behave this way. Plenty of girls are also slutty and just as easy as some guys are. To say that all men are like this is close-minded and just... stupid. I'm surprised by the amount of female friends of mine who have this mindset. Really curious to see what some of the guys feel about girls who think this way.

It annoys the fuck out of me because those are almost always the same woman who want a 'macho' guy with a big truck lol makes absolutely NO sense.

Heres a short list of things i dislike about modern women and the modern population in general (and im 18...)

1.I hate that people would rather here about sports than world poltics
2.People who socially degrade themselves because they see it as some form of modern social respect (eg "i was voted the biggest whore of the year" - this is an actual quote from some female during an end of term assembelly)
3.People who are..errrm ive not got the word for it so ill describe it, the kind of idiots that say "i like the bad boy" or "bad girls are the best" - truely these people who say these things generally dont understand the definiton of being "bad" i was watching a documentary a few years ago about two seperate women who left their husbands for convicted criminals and they both ended up with their teeth pulled out and one was killed now let me ask..is that bad enough for you?
4.People who cannot understand something because of arrogance or ignorance
5.Alot of the music that people listen to our days there is nothing talented about an auto tuned voice or a manipulated puplic puppet that you only like the beats or the chorus to the song of that is not the enjoyment of music
6.The stupid attatchment to materialist objects and wealth

1) You serious? Are you really annoyed by that? People often have interests, those are personal and not something YOU can comment on. I personally put little interest into world politics, however I do enjoy talking about local politics every now and again. I dislike talking about sports but I fully understand ALOT of people enjoy doing it so who am I to say they should do better or discuss something more "important"?

2) Socially degrade themselfs? This is once again a personal thing that's hard to judge; Yes you can call the woman that got boned by 17 diffrent dudes at the same party a whore or slut, but if she enjoyed that what's wrong with it? I'm not convinced you're in any position to clasify certain things as "socially degrading".

3) They aren't idiots for liking a certain "stereotype". You can't help it, most of the time, who you are attracted to. The definition of being "bad" is once again open to debate and you're in no position to draw that conclusion. When they say "I like the bad boy" they may just mean the paltry shoplifter or the dude who drives a Harley.

4) I'd say you fall into the catagory of being abit arrogant.

5) Enjoyment of music is personal. You can't put arbitrary requirements on music; If it's got rythm it's music. That may be anything to anything.

6) This I can partially agree to, but I wouldn't say it's stupid. Currency has been making the world turn for a very very long time, can't blame individuals who simply adhere to that.

Been there, done that. A few times, actually. Had a girl interested,or even dated a girl. She talks to her friends about me...and they talk her into me being a cheating asshole, and I've done absolutely nothing to suggest that.

And I think man-haters are pretty pathetic. They've been hurt by men, so accuse all men. Its childish, unintellectual and extremely prejudgice. All it does is continue the circle of hate and hurt. I really don't want to comment on the OP's original comment because that's just silly. You can't group an entire sex of people based on that. Do men think about sex more than women? Possibly. Do women think about sex more than men? Also quite possible. The thing with this is it's not an objective thing you can measure unless a study is conducted with thousands of subjects over the course of 3 years. Moods change and everyone is different.

While I may get slack for this, women who subscribe to the "Men are pigs who just want to have sex with everything" camp tend to fall into three categories:
A) Follow the mantra because of its fundamentals, which are summed up in that line out of convenience, not because it's accurate (Majority)
B) Actually believe the line (many reasons: low IQ, issues with men in general, history, male domination, etc) (Sadly increasing)
C) Secretly want a dominating man to ravish them. (Minority)

Yes i say i "hate" and all round dislike the things ive touched on but the matter of the fact is you're right everything is opinion based and the understanding of other peoples opinions is what i try to do best i enjoy seeing both sides of the spectrum i say i dislike these things but being in the modern times and being around the age that i am i have experienced a all of the points and found myself again in my opinion disliking what ive seen/heard/experienced (not saying a bad experience has ruined everything and you'd most likely blame it all on a bad experience if i didnt mention it wasnt i know how these arguments work, all the experiences were socially normal by todays bizzare standards i just didnt like them because they seemed to show how little respect people have for one another)

And as for the point of the arrogance...yes i am arrogant but only to the degree that i stand by my morales and if someone can change my point of view by means unknown at the moment then i will stand/sit and listen to the points and hopefully come out with a more complex understanding of the subject in hand

Also the matter of the sports i dont mean that people cannot enjoy the fun of observing and partaking in sports i just mean it shouldent be so dominant in someones life that they know more about what could be argued to be meaningless unless they're going to persue a job in the field of sports than other matters it doesnt have to be a political matter it could be anything that may be seen as a second rate subject over what will be to most a leisure

I actually saw a show today about men who were trying to live up to the model standard for men, and my sister called them whiny *******. I proceeded to say that she had doubble standards because it's wrong that women feel that way but not men. She just said that it's wrong women look at themselves that way and it's worse for women because it makes them feel bad about them selves. I sighed.

Also, feminism is not about being equal anymore it's about being superior. And i f****ng hate feminists. They get 9 months paid vacation when they get a child, does not have forced military duties, and then QQ about men getting paid 2% more a year in high end positions

Honestly, you wouldn't want a woman who only listens to her best friend and then makes decisions solely based upon that. She obviously can't think for herself if she's having someone else do it for her.

I just ignore people like that, because I know I found and married a great guy. That being said, in a lot of social situations (or at least how I found it) the vast majority of guys there were like how OP described it. Only there to pick pick up women and then fool around with them. It's also the reason why I dislike bars and going out to clubs in general.
