    Seeking Advice on Laptops

    Hello Everyone,

I am seeking advice on laptops.

I'm a college student looking to purchase a new laptop that's between the price of $1000 - $1400.

The main characteristics that I'm looking for in a laptop are:
    1.) Light
    2.) Thin
3.) Enough power to play WoW, SC2 and Diablo 3 fairly well

So far I've looked at the MacBook Pro 13" and the Dell XPS 15z.

At the moment, I'm really liking the Dell XPS 15z...

Anyway, I hope someone can give me their 2 cents on what they would recommend for a laptop.

    Looking forward to hearing back

    Thank you

EDIT: Another idea I have is to build a desktop, but what laptop should I then buy for college to take to class with me etc...?

Look up the U36-series by ASUS, particularly the new one coming with Sandy Bridge and a mobile 500-series GPU. It's going to be called U36SD in Swedia, at least.

It's supposed to arrive late June to late July. I don't know about you guys over there, but school starts in mid-August here, so that should be enough time.

EDIT: The old U36JC is acceptable, but I wouldn't attempt gaming with it.

I agree, the U36 series isn't bad. Plus they only run around $900.
