I dont think the raid will have a elemental shaman for Totemic Wrath. So does this mean I should go demo for demonic pact? affliction is my fav spec but is the demonic pact a big deal? 10% raid spell power sounds like a lot.

If you have a mage or heal shaman, you'll have a 6% spellpower buff. This might make your decision easier.

How many casters do you have and do you have a Mage (Arcane Brilliance gives 6% SP)?

1) How caster heavy is your comp?
2) How well can you play demo?
3) Is overall raid dps an issue.
My guild tends to run a caster heavy group and we don't always have an ele shaman. I can play affliction and demo equally well without have to worry about the changes but I can't say the same for you. Only you can judge that.

Anyone kno if demo is better than destro when destro just has a 6% SP buff from a mage.
