Hello,


I come from FatbossTV a YouTube channel to announce Firelands guides that we have recently released. The guides I believe personally are easier to listen to than the more popular guides that you find and also give you information that is relevant rather than random math, numbers and abilities that can make watching guides a chore rather than being entertaining. As anyone who visits our channel can tell, we are British and yes... we love Final Fantasy. So if you're looking for quick, informative and easy guides of all the normal mode bosses in Firelands (hardmodes soon) please check out our videos. Our current guides are for 10 man only.

The guides are awesome (though I only watched the Ragnaros guide) but you should consider lowering the volume of the music or remove it completely..

I tried the Baelroc guide before we went at him this weekend, absolutely terrible, by far the worst of any of the video guides I looked for.

You list the mechanics, list the basic straegies and then don't go into anything specific regarding strategy for healing rotations, DPS switches just say "You sort'a need'a do something with that", awesome thanks for the sage advice. Not a single mention of the fact that the fight is also a large DPS race (something I didn't know going into and we then struggled with) despite the fact that your own video shows you only barely got him before he enraged.

Mentioning things like the fact that it's a tight DPS race and you need to be able to burn him down very fast helps guilds decide when to do him (And no, you don't need to do him 5th, he's available anytime I believe, or at least after Shannox) whether to go straight to him or head to the other bosses to gear up DPS more first.

And then of course, Ugly UI and watching a tank click his abilities is always wince inducing.

That's the useful part of a video guide. You're basically reading the dungeon journal out to us, there's no real strategy given.

i just watched your alyrazor guide and i gotta say 3 things.

awsome guide, was fun to watch, and great music
as good as the music was, it was too high. you may wanna lower it a bit so we can hear what you are saying
you forgot some few things. now i only watched the alyrazor fight but stuff like, the birdie add got a frontal cone attack didt get mentioned at all.

overall, your guides are pretty good. 7/10

keep making them, allways nice to have more than one tactic video to hear

Updated one of the videos with annotations that really should of been up before we made it public explaining the fight slightly clearer. The audio will stay as it is for now but will definitely be worked on for the heroic videos that should start coming up around Thursday evening (7th July) if not they'll be on over the weekend. Some of the information in the guides was incorrect I agree and the only reasoning I can give was that we killed them so quick we didn't really get a chance to explore them, however, that isn't an excuse to make a poorly informed guide! Guaranteed correct heroic guides coming next reset!
