Bethesda games may be buggy but they certainly are brilliant at doing the open-ended type of games - oblivion, fallout etc. Frankly, I'm somewhat aroused already...

Bethesda hasn't managed to disaapoint me yet so looking forward to it Although I'm not a big fan of modern/futuristic games, I really enjoyed fallout 3 and Fallout: NW so I guess I'll give it a try too when it's out.

You omitted the most important part:
Bethesda's next title has been revealed - a first-person, stealth-based action game called Dishonored that is in development by Arx Fatalis creator Arkane Studios.

I expect 3 DLC's before the game is being launched, and at least 1 patch at launch day.

He did work on Deus Ex...but then also did work on it's crappy sequel, and his last project was that universally revered game Blacksite: Area 51....Well, let's hope he can get something out of the bethesda engine (refuses to hold breath)

    This is Bethesda, not Bioware.

Modding can only go so far, take a look at Oblivion..

There exist few modding communities greater than those of the Elder Scrolls series.

That's what I mean. There are fundamental problems with the code in Oblivion that modders just couldn't fix. It was a bad console port and I imagine the future is bleak for the PC market =/
