Was wondering if jumping while he does the stomp makes it do 0 damage (like that trash in stonecore), any of you know if this is possible?

you can be very lucky and resist, but jumping wont affect

doesnt work its just a resist ive trie djumping and still getting hit and not jumping and resisting lol

I go boomkin for that fight, spending 90% of my time laying down/detonating mushrooms and spamming typhoon/moonfire on adds, so I have plenty of time for jumping -- it definitely does not work. The odd 0 damage instances are resists, as it is fire damage (it either hits you or it doesn't.) It would make sense for it to be jumpable, though.

I've noticed staying at max melee range works on the adds/trash, does/would that stop the damage of the stomp or is it raid wide?

You cannot avoid the stomp by jumping. However you can avoid the knockback by being more than 20 yrs away from his body.
