Your habits inside wow?

Hallo! I am making this thread because i'v been wondering about what strange or wierd habits other players have ingame.


I always chill somewhere in tirisfal glades (no idea why) and when im raiding i ALWAYS life grip (tho im a shadow priest) the mage (mostly arcanes) when they try to do their evocation mana spell, just because i hate them for beating my dps :I - After some months it has turned into a perm habit! /grin.

I know this thread sound very much like the "What's your wow secret". Anyhow i believe there is a diffrence! :P

Edit: Also as far back as i remember from vanilla to the end of Wotlk there has been a some sort of moonwalk glitch! Yes! It was so epic, like if you ran around in a circle and suddently jumped backwards and kept on walking backwards you would be moonwalking! It ruined cataclysm! ((

When waiting for a queue or friends to log on I like to run around in circles around Trade District. Even if I'm supposed to be doing something for some reason my hands always do it. Sometimes guildies will even ask me wtf I'm doing since I don't even realize I do it. This was a lot worse back in WotLK when we hung out in dal.

Pressing Y and looking at what achievements I still need to do. The reason why I now have 13900 achievements x_x

Also, running around in a building. My old spot was the Dalaran Horde Inn, in the basement under the kitchen, I used to run around those barrels for HOURS while talking with friends, watching trade chat. Now that I'm Alliance, I use the second floor of the Dwarf Town Inn in Stormwind. Although, I do miss the privacy of the basement, so sometimes I go to the basement in the building under the kitchen in Mage Quarters.

And I'd be really, really pissed if I was Evocating and you fucking Life Grip me for no reason other than to break it. Pissed enough to yell at the raid leader about you :S

Back in TBC i remember a gnome warrior who would run back and forth from the Aldor bank to Ad'al and back for 2 hours before she would raid lol.
Was funny to watch as she was always there.

As for me i tend to just strafe jump back and forth or spam FoK til my que pops.

If you had life gripped me during a evocation id gkick ya =P. but to answer your question. my bad habit i guess is that i jump back and forth on the sw bank stairs all day when im not doing anything else but chatting with other players.

Yeah I would be less than impressed if you did that whilst I was evocating :S
My most annoying habit to me is the fact that im so damn OCD about gathering, for example, if im doing some herbalism, I have to have like bang on 10 stacks before I leave the area, If I have like 10 stacks and 3 left over herbs, ill throw them away! No idea why!

I do have the anoying habbit of spamming real-id broadcasts and staring at people on fancy mounts considering if I want to farm them or not.

I do exactly the same, I look at peoples mounts, check the wowhead entries and how to obtain them and then usually do nothing with that info as another mount I prefer flys by!

i admit. Life gripping a mage evocating is pure comedy (to everyone but the mage). My priest is 84.... i think i just may go for that ding.

Lol, when I'm bored i sometimes log on and jump on top of the horde ah in org on my mount. I used to do this in sunreaver sanctuary in dal on the stairs too. Idk why it just.. keeps me occupied while recruiting i guess

Also, I have the bad habbit of making childish jokes/weird jokes while raiding, it's nothing that will really slow down progress it's just being weird for the fun of it.
My favorite moment is the time I went raiding in BoT and one of our healer told everyone "if you stand in the purple AoE you will not receive any heals", after which I (priest healer) stoot in the AoE and called out "Anyone standing in the ground AoE will be healed by me!" I still have a screenshot of me and all the range DPS and healers standing in the same little purple AoE

Weird little habit while waiting for raid recovery or pulls: strafe jumping. E+Space, Q+Space, rinse, repeat. Sometimes I get really crazy and do the spacebar first. I know, I'm a rebel like that.

Edit: I've also recently gotten into the habit of making diamonds with the jumping. Q+S+Space back left, E+S+Space back right, E+W+Space forward right, Q+W+Space forward left. It's tricker than you think to do it fluidly.

also, I really want my bank and bags to be nicely organized. Like tabards with tabards, ores with ores etc.
If my bags are not organized the first thing I do is organize them.

You too? :d - I kinda did that for like a month spamming something like "plaguemaw is no longer on you real-id" After some hours of spamming i kinda had no friends left on my friendlist /sadface tho it was funny. I REGRET NOTHING!
