    WoW leading dev for one day, what would you change?

    You got the chance to change several parts of wow, you will be god. What will you change?


    My list:
    1. Classic realms, both vanilla and TBC, just for fun. There is no need for patches or anything new. Just old stuff with enormous raids and no resilience in pvp. Also few realms so they get populated
    2. Warderobe, where you can paint your gear and put on cosmetic changes to it, no need for stats or anything. Just for fun
    3. Really hard-modes, which can be activated after you have cleared HC, this is for things to do after a full clear. (yes I know I havn't cleared everything)


    Please don't just say "nerf [class]".

    -> remove lfg (or any other server crossed actions)
    -> thrall becomes warchief again and kills garrosh (because garosh is an azz)
    -> better graphics
    -> also 'bout classic realms
    -> pure pvp realms (with organised pvp events)

    -Remove 10/25 shared lockout.
    -Add more pre-set specs that work like bank slots: the more you buy, the more expensive they get.
    -Remove valor/conquest point cap.
    -Appearance tab, allowing you to wear whatever gear you want while transferring the stats of pieces you currently own.

    You can do everything you could do on classic wow on the normall servers (except naxx40 etc) their still strict vanilla guilds who raid 40 mans etc just got to look for them, no need to make new servers.


    about the pure Pvp realm, its about the players blizzard cant the change it if players wanne do world pvp or not.

    I would like new character models

    - remove LFG
    - change classes, so they're more different from each other.
    - Introduce WOTLK, TBC and vanilla realms
    - make a world PvP zone (NO, TB isn't a world PvP zone, the zone doesn't exist in "real world", try flying to it)
    - create less daily chores/weekly chores. Like needing to reach a valor/conquest/justice/whatever points cap. How? Simply remove the caps.
    - more ingame events like Rift has. (It's no problem to steal one of their ideas since Rift is a totall copy of other MMO's)
    - instant level 85 with free gear servers, where you can only do arena's/BG

    -Fire the C team (all of them, except that skinny guy in the corner, hes cute)
    -Remove all the welfare gear as in nothing will get easier to get with every patch except when you go there with newer gear, but no welfare, EVER and no nerfs to older content
    -Resilience cap at 25%, reduces healing taken along with damage taken


    Oh and almost forgot, fire anyone in the dev team who even mentions the bloody cosmetic mounts or minipets as rewards for harder content/achies. Instead put in practical powerful gear and weapons.

    Hire new writers to fully understand and develop Warcraft lore, and fire anybody saying 'that could be cool and then lore will be fixed later on'. No proper story = uninspired content, which is the root of the problem with Cataclysm, in my opinion.

    Revamp character and older monster models.

    Order the devs to create more quests aiming at teaching people how to play their role. Move out of bad stuff, interrupting, attacking the marked targets, CCing.

    Give the explicit order: design content for cap level characters that does not have anything to do with raiding, give them something more than that.

    Basically this.

    -Reduce number of abilities per class
    -Make Mana a non-scaling resource (you have a fixed amount of say...1000 mana, regardless of level or class)
    -Natural progression from older tiers to current tiers (older tiers drop more loot and are slightly nerfed, current tiers drop less)
    -Removal of the LFG from endgame dungeons, keep if for leveling dungeons.
    -Make Normal Modes available for ALL endgame dungeons. (aka. all normal modes are for level 85 and award 40 VP).
    -Replace 10/25 man raiding with 15 man raiding.
    -Remove Mail Armor and give Hunters and Shamans Leather instead
    -Normalize Attackpower and Spellpower. (AP and SP should become 1:1 equivalents)
    -Remove Prime Glyphs and replace them with Major Glyphs, encouraging real choices and less cookie-cutter.
    -More teaching, less carrying by making leveling progressively more challenging to player skill.
    -Introduce sandbox-elements into endgame (capturing keeps for guild-perks etc.)
    -200% crits base-line
    -remove 2v2 and 5v5 Arena.
    -Reduce the rate of item-level inflation down to 10 Ilevel/Tier (down from 13).
    -Fix low level player DPS.
    -Significantly nerf and reduce the presence of NPC guards in the World.
    -Add Tier 2 Weapon Drops to Faction Leaders (OG and SW only).

    I would separate out PVE and PVP completely. Abilities would do one thing in PVP and another in PVE wherever needed so that we NEVER EVER EVER have to have PVE abilities nerfed because of PVP or visa-versa.

    - Remove Arena / Rated BG`s / Redesign Alterac Valley - like the "good old" one. 24h Battles ftw.
    - Introduce the Role "Support" für Hybrid Classes like Shamans / Paladins / Shadows
    - Introduce Crushing Bows, Druids & DKs would get more HP an more Armor, whereas Paladins and Warrior use a Schield and can be blockcaped.
    - Redesign Protpaladins to be a Caster, based on reflectiv Dmg.
    - Reintroduce Prequests as all Players should progress Linear, throug the Raidtier`s. Speed is not important, everyone can process as fast as he like.
    - Introduce 10 Man only Raids like Kara or ZA, on a 3 Day Cooldown.
    - Introduce the FSR - which will be a main Concept of Priest's Mana Regen.
    - Introduce Downranking - cheaper spells heal for less and vice versa.
    - Remove Diminishing Return on Itemstats like Doge, Parry

    3n3 tripple dps? or a frost mage do not need as much resilience as a warrior oder dk

    "-Make Normal and Heroic mode difficulties for endgame dungeons"
    Fl is so hard, 50% of all rading guides cleared heroic...

    if there would be a necessary change for this game, they'd already mentioned it

    I think the one change that could be made which would lead to the largest positive effect is making two sets of numbers - one for pvp one for pve. Screw if blizzard think its too confusing for it's consumers it solves too many problems so they need to learn to read the tooltips and deal with it.

    - Old Shaman Windfury of TBC restored.
    - Daily World PvP Events. (Not like WG, just a huge 200 vs 200 slaughterfest...elimination last man standing per faction thing)
    - Remove Arenas and RBG's
    - Remove Eye of the Storm, Isle of Conquest, Strand of the Ancients, and make AV a priority que!

    - introducing 3rd specc
    - reintroducing tough raiding-requirement quests like in bc (hand of adal f.e.)
    - no epics in 5man-heros...epics only available in raids
