[Music] One of the best I've heard in the past month

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZMfhtKa-wo

Figured I'd just share the link, thought the song was sick. Was released about a month ago.

Except Skrillex really is to dubstep what Rihanna is to dance music. I imagine it's great if you like raving and stuff, but to call it dubstep is a far reach.

I never understood why you can't like mainstream music or such.
a good song is a good song, no matter who performs it, and to me promises by Nero is no exception

dubstep has evolved. same goes for happy hardcore and hardstyle and whatnot.
ever heard the original hardcore songs lá neohypte 92? it's freaking awful compared to what they do now, but that didn't mean it wasn't good back then.

Learn your dubstep then. Skrillex is dubstep. The only issue with Skrillex is that his dubstep is dirty just for the sake of being dirty, aka brostep.

Real dubstep lies in Excision or Datsik.

On a sort of related note: Seeing Datsik, Doctor P, Flux Pavilion, Benga, and DJ Fresh at a rave here in southern California on the 30th.

I think you mean it's dubstep-influenced techno, because that's what's being called Dubstep these days. That's fine if you like it, but it's like calling Deathcore Death metal.

The problem I have with people like is that you just find something out that has been around for years and you think its all hip and new... Making real fans look like there just chasing a new fad

Ending it is all I fucking think about, that's the shit I think about
All alone, bawling 'til my mothafuckin' eyes bleed

Burial is Dubstep. Skrillex is Dubstep-like.
evolved, influenced, but yes exactly what I meant
but then again, what is dubstep?

    according to wikipedia:
" Its overall sound has been described as "tightly coiled productions with overwhelming bass lines and reverberant drum patterns, clipped samples, and occasional vocals"
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dubstep

to me, it sounds like even "the new stuff" is dubstep, by definition.
