I honestly can't remember the first time I was on the internet, all I know is that it was at least ten years ago. I think I had just started in first class back then, but I can't seem to remember anything more than that.

The thing I remember most is AOL, mainly the signing in part and actually loading up AOL, christ the sound was annoying and it was so frustrating watching it sign in slowly. I also remember how cluttered and bad the interface was for AOL.
I also remember Windows Messenger and that AOL Messenger aswell. Counterstrike was also a fond memory aswell as Xbox Live, I can't quite remember what the game was called though I played it a lot. Think it was one of those Tom Clancy ones.

Man, it feels so nostalgic and I'm so glad for my computer now although I feel a bit sorry for how many times I got the old family computer infected by viruses.

I remember going on a chat-site for kids, online games and sneaking to the playboy site (yes i was checking out naked playboy-chicks as a kid online). Stopped doing that when my dad asked me why his browsing history showed the playboy site. Im guessing i was around 8 or 9 at the time.

I was pretty scared of it. I was like, 6 years old. My parents were all DO NOT TOUCH THE BLUE E.

Of course, I was with friends and the first thing we did was yahoo search the term "sex."

Now I'm 21 and the internet is my BESTEST FRIEND.

It was in high school.

I looked up porn.

I printed pictures on the school's printer.

30-45 seconds to load 1 picture meant that I didn't get much porn, but I sure did try.

First time on the internet would have been at university. It consisted purely of email, ftp and telnet; the world wide web didn't exist yet. Yeah, I'm old (well, compared to most of you, anyway).

^^This. And then came Netscape and you could search for course related articles. Also feeling old.

I used it to look up cheat codes for video games. I can't remember using it between the ages of 12 and 15 though. 15+ is when I started using it heavily (1999-2000 LOLNAPSTER)
