Renew Duration On Icon Inperceptible

So, I started levelling my healing priest and thought "Hey, can I do this mostly without addons, relying only on macros and the Blizz UI?"
And it has been going pretty well! However, the duration of Renew on the raid-frame icon is almost in-perceptible, meaning I really have to strain my eyes to see whether it is about to run out - Which is obviously complete rubbish when you are trying to heal. Does anyone by any chance happen to know if this is a bug, an option or just working as intended?

Any tips on fixing it / changing it would be VERY welcome indeed!

Same here.

It's a bug.

Sometimes works well: the duration is very clear.

I don't know how the bug becomes active or how to solve it.

Yeah, I were just in an instance today where it was perfectly clear - Still no idea what triggers it, though

Yeah noticed the same thing.

Also it seems to work sometimes, but other times it just seems like it still has full duration, and you have to mouse over to see the actual duration.
