    Prebuilt limited eidtion

    Hey guys.

Been browsing around the computer forum the last week to hunt for opinions on different things, but then this prebuilt thing popped up and I was wondering if anyone could let me in if the components are worth the cost or not.

If anyone has opinions please share them.

The parts of the prebuilt are:

    • Fractal Design Define R3 Black Pearl
    • Corsair TX V2 650W PSU
    • MSI P67A-GD65 B3, Socket-1155
    • Intel® Core™ i5-2500K Processor
    • Kingston ValueR. DDR3 1333MHz 4GB, CL9
    • ASUS GeForce GTX 560Ti 1GB PhysX CUDA
    • Seagate Barracuda® 7200.12 1TB
    • Corsair SSD Force Series™ F115, 115GB
    • Sony Optiarc DVD±RW Burner, AD-7260S
THis comes with a 3 year warranty, windows i7 64bit

The price with sending is roughly:

    1.157 Euro
    1.646 usd
    1.017 gbp

Do keep in mind I live in Norway so the prices here are higher than most countries in the world

That system is $953 dollars if you bought the parts yourself, not including rebates from Newegg. So if a $700 mark up for being in Norway is about right then it is a good deal. If the additional $700 for being in Norway is not normal then no I will try to look them up on another site.

EDIT: I apologize I did not add in the cost of the ssd, ill update it in a sec

Good PC nonetheless, But as mentioned above, if you were to buy the parts yourself and assemble it / have someone assemble it for you. You will save 100s

    That is my problem.

I can get the parts and assemble myself and I will safe roughly what you say, but then I gotta get a hold of the windows 1.7 which will basically put another 150 on top, going over the price of the prebuilt one.

If I buy the parts from the uk I get slapped with 4-5000 nok taxation, and even more if I were to order it from the US. Wish I was still living in Ireland right now lol.

Ok, I built the system on another site that has everything in Norway prices. Actual cost for you if you bought the items yourself would be 8612. Which is about $1575 US, so that system above is a good deal, basically 75 dollars for them to put everything together for you which is not that bad. Hopefully I did the conversion ok lol

You picked SO-DIMM's. That's notebook RAM.

Nothing limited about it since the parts are totally off the shelf stuff, but it's well balanced and with pretty low mark-up. I'd say it's good purchase pre-built and with 3 year warranty.
Never going to log into this garbage forum again as long as calling obvious troll obvious troll is the easiest way to get banned.
    Trolling should be.

While I got you here. How much OC can I achieve on the i5 and should I get some more fans?

I managed to overclock a q6600 from 2.4 to 3.6 a few years ago on air, but that case had really good air flow

The I5 can be overclocked a good bit. Some people have got them to 5.0 and a little over. I would say the average chip though will go to 4.5, but as always it depends on the chip itself.

Edit: Some people have done the 4.5 on the stock cooler too, but I would recommend a aftermarket one.
