Hmm luck or just fortunate
some times what people call bad luck is kind of a good thing my best example I can give is I use to travel regularly in small planes and I had 3 close calls in small planes people use to say don't fly with him he is bad luck but I think it was more just a simple fact of statistics I flew in light aircraft more than most people around me thus exposing me to a higher probability of being on a plane when something went wrong. the close calls I had were landing on 2 wheels , running out of fuel due to bad weather and the last one was being late for my flight. Now the last one I was late forbecause I had eaten some bad food and was quite ill for a few days I slept in the day I was meant to fly so as there was 2 planes going a person took my seat on the 1st plane and I went on the second plane. Now sadly the 1st plane crashed into hills in bad weather near the landing strip there were no survivors and it was so sad to come in for a landing and fly over the other plane burning on the ground . before people say as if you would land when there had been a wreck do understand that small aircraft can only carry so much weight so it's a balancing act of people goods and fuel so sometimes they can reach their destination with enough fuel for a little bit of flying around but often not enough to return without landing and refuelling any pilots on here will be able to confirm this and also point out how sometimes even enough fuel for safety margin can be cut short by strong winds .Now if I hadn't of had the bad luck of eating the bad food I would not be sharing this with you all . So am I lucky or unlucky to be truthful I think it's just a matter of some days things don't work out for in your favour and other days it does Although there is one guy I do know and hisgood fortune is so crazy it should be illegal but I also have notice he isn'tafraid to take action and risk so while most people are trying to work out ifthey should do something or not he already has

1) You either need to buy a new battery for your phone, bring your charger with you when you travel, or stop using your phone so much the battery dies that quickly.

Wasnt the battery that failed, it froze down, I pulled the battery out, and when I tried to turn it on the white starting screen flashed for 4 hours

Luck is really just a matter of circumstance. We call certain things luck, so that's what it is, but as a 'thing' it isn't real. Basically, nobody has better luck than anyone else. They're just in the wrong place at the right time. Two people playing blackjack and hitting at the same time with the same cards will always win or lose at the same time. If one has a different set of cards, and hits to win when you lose, it wasn't him having better luck. He had a better set of cards.

So basically...luck does exist, but it isn't different for each person.

Luck does exist. I was at a casino w/ some friends one night, and this one kid was playing craps. He couldn't even see straight he was so drunk, but the stack of chips in from of him was HUGEEEEEE. I started to watch him just because there was a big crowd and he seemed interesting. He'd put down crazy bets like double 2's, etc, and he'd hit them!!

There were like 2-3 people just betting on what he was betting on, and I don't think he even knew what he was betting on just throwing chips out there. One kid that was completely sober next to him was just laughing as the kid kept hitting everything and he kept copying his bets. I asked the sober kid how long drunkie has been on this lucky streak, and the sober kid said since he got to the table, and that he already had like 2 girls bring up a bunch of chips to his room like 2-3 hours ago. So this kid was gambling non-stop for 5+ hours and getting really lucky and making a bunch of cash. I started betting when a seat opened up with the kid and made a couple hundred before my friends called me for the bar. I'd definitely say that this kid was lucky!!!

I got 4 (or 3) rare mounts in the last week, Swift White Hawkstrider, Amani Battle Bear (rare for my groups), Fiery Warhorse and Raven Lord.

Just finished MGT HC again, i want my Orb, and the Hawkstrider dropped again, yes, i believe in luck.

The MGT mount is very, -very- far from rare. I've gotten mine all within 20 runs across all characters, have a few guildies who got it fast as well.

Battle Bear isn't really luck apart from the roll. Raven Lord is definitely more rare than the MGT mount.

The Fiery Warhorse however, grats on that, damned thing refuses to drop.

And you're saying you're unlucky?

I'm not trying to be harsh...just illustrating that "luck" is all about perception.

another way to think of "bad luck" is maybe its really good luck in a disguise? maybe if it wasnt raining on your moped you would have been a bit more carefree and less focused on the road, enjoying the beautiful day when a tractor trailer blind sides you and scatters bits and pieces of you down main street.
