    First time building a PC.

    Hey guys,

I wonder if you could all help me out, I'm building a PC and I'm wondering if this set-up is looking decent.

I understand that the i7 won't be fully used to its potential with just gaming but I'm studying a MSc in .NET technology and Web Systems, so I run a lot of virtual servers and stuff.

I know it sounds really silly to be asking for help with this considering my level of education but being honest I hardly deal with hardware at all.

Any help at all will be appreciated, also feel free to drop your suggestions to change parts to XXX.

12GB RAM is bad. You don't want triple channel, you want dual channel, so go with either 8 or 16.
Everything else is pretty decent. The Agility 3 isn't the greatest SSD in the world, but it'll do its job

Yep, the Vengeance set is made for a tripple channel platform, which the 2600K isn't. If you still want 12GB, get 2x4GB & 2x2GB

As of late I have been seeing a high failure rate from OCZ SSD's. Might be worth checking into prior to purchase.

Would this suffice for the RAM?

Also 3 monitors sounds insane and I doubt I would use them all but you never know

    Thanks

The RAM looks good. I believe the 320 Intel series has also had a few problems.. I know the 510 series from Intel has been super solid, but its a little for expensive. Otherwise I'm ignorant as to which direction to point you.
