1 shot macro - Warlock - Getting nerf, so probably not that bad a discover :D

Hey guys

I saw quite some hate in the warlock one shot macro, about how its useless and not OP at all

and i just wanted to give you guys a notice about the situation

first of, the trinket is now only usable with other trinkets cooldowns = the trinket was OP before

second, when looking at the macro itself - its much more complicated than many other macros know out there, which gets a lot more love
lets take swiftys newest one shot macro for warriors... "use recklessness + 1x trinket + mortal strike" ... thats it... and that macro gets all the love in the world - JUST because its swifty

PodeWarr showed a macro with 6 cools + a spell in it - which is far more complicated, there is no reason to turn down all his glory, just because none of you noticed this first.

Hope you enjoyed the trinket when this was still doable

..and for "no apparent reason"? Really? Ppl tried to explain to you the concept of "one-shotting", and how that macro wasn't gonna help you one-shot anyone.

I really wish swifty would of named it something besides the "oneshot" macro... you don't oneshot anybody with it... yes its your highest burst button, yes you can kill people very fast with it, yes sometimes even in a few globals. but it's still not oneshotting... maybe if you go hit someone who just dinged 85 and is still in greens...

warriors have been using versions of this macro since vanilla, swifty didn't invent it. all he did was coin the name and create the stigma of warriors being OP.

you realise the nerf to the Moonwell Chalice wasn't because of demolol locks right? mages and shadow priests in arena were critting people with 3.9k resi for 40-50k with it popped.

in the video it is stated that it does not have to be shadowbolt
in the video it is also stated that the trinket was the point of the macro + it could get used on multiple characters
the video just showed you the best possible macro for burst as warlock atm
- stop being so negative about him calling it the one shot macro, its the exact same principal as swifty is using, and that is totally accepted!
