Well I got the Embers last raid and did the quests up until the branch of Nordrasil.
I'm not sure if anyone but the person with the quest can actually see this, so I recorded it for good measure and here is the result.
And yes I do die once or twice :P

Always wondered how an arcane mage would do this quest.
I'm second in line for the legendary and I just completed this quest chain yesterday. Had to heal shit loads to survive.

This quest chain makes absolutely no sense in light of the new book.

like ur video and effort but... why are you refuse to use your cds like arcane power and pom... seriously just casting arcane blast and backpaddeling makes the mages not look the best... or am I missing something here?

Well mainly because it was recorded at 8 am in the morning and I was quite tired, but also because its not really needed. I took a ton of damage before I realised that the big robot things had a reflective shield that you can spellsteal etc.

Well done and congrats! When I did this quest on my Mage I streamed it through XFire for the guild, and I died once or twice too, some of that sudden damage from what I in the start thought came from nowhere took me by surprise at times. For Mages attempting this later on do note that Spellstealing the Sentries to get rid of their reflect is quite nice and don't forget to Spellsteal the dragon in the end, and don't stand in the Spellflame cast by the demon when protecting Tarecgosa, it hurts. ;P
