give us a budget, if you're comfortable building the PC yourself or if you want it prebuilt, and where you live and we'll find something much better

this was from cyberpowersystems.co.uk for £700 so anything around that and lower would be awesome and i live in the UK, Thanks

You can get better for £700. I'll look it up in a jiffy.
It's like we are all Red Jelly Beans in a Jar full of various colors. Every now and then they reach in and get a Red Jelly Bean.
We know we are in there, we can see the color, we just can't do anything to speed up our being taken out of the jar -- Jelly Beans can't speak.

Prices could change but only by a few euros. This 624 € so you still have some money for a case. And if you put in a bit extra you could get an even better Graphic card. GTX570 is +/- 220€

    Edit: 625€ = 546.597 GBP

Well, other than the tri-channel RAM kit that nocturnes linked, its a pretty solid build, and will kick the living crap out of what is in the OP. But upgrade to the 2500 or 2500k if you can squeeze it in.
(tri-channel was for the last-gen intel processors, Sandy Bridge is dual-channel).

Also GTX560 is a scam, it's not really faster than 460, and misleading naming. Whole different thing from 560ti which is lot faster card.

All that I can say is when I built my new system a couple weeks ago, I went with an i5 rather then AMD and I don't think I regret it.

    Things that matter:
    i5 2500k
    GTX 460
    4 gigs of ram
    Asrock h61 icafe mobo

I'm capped at 75 fps pretty much all the time.. (refresh rate) in SW flying around with preset Ultra and all other settings maxed.

In raids, I turn down shadows to medium and I resume being capped at 75 fps. Having shadows on results in 10-15 fps fluctuation during the fight, which honestly I don't even notice it just makes me feel better to be fps capped for consistency xD

So you say that in 25 man raids you have consistent 60+ fps at any given moment of the fight?

ICC - Trash before Sindragosa, those whelps. That was a nice pc test Always saw 2-4 people dc when the dps opened fire! 60 fps on that moment and you won yourself a lollypop !

That's about the best I can do in the $700 region if you want to keep the overclocking ability. =.=
You'll want to get an aftermarket cooler later when you can pick one up tho.

Think you can get it cheaper elsewhere tho.

My bad. Used US version. EU version here.

If you did think of going with nocturnes build, you would need to change the RAM to either 4GB or 8GB or dual channel ram, tri channel doesn't go with the sandy bridge chips. 2400 is the best option unless you plan to OC and then i would suggest upgrading to the 2500K.

My bad. I used the US version of CyberPowerPC...

For some amusing reason the EU build is actually better than the US version...

Unless something changed since very recent (which it might have), computer parts pricing varies wildly and currency conversions tend to be f*d.

As said before by others, ignore my ram choise. No idea why i took those as Triple doesn't work on a Sandy Bridge.

    Suggestion:

    Corsair 4 GB DDR3-1600 Kit Light-Retail, CMZ4GX3M2A1600C9B, Vengeance Blue

    or

    Corsair 8 GB DDR3-1600 Kit Light-Retail, CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9, Vengeance
about 55€ for this last one.

You also want to consider the I5 i suggested to change it with a I5-2400K. Gives you the posibility to overclock if that's your cookie.

I'm sure we can trust kubuntu. He seems legit.
