I can't use any search engines

Whenever I try to go to Yahoo Google or Bing, nothing happens. The little circle thing on firefox is spinning like its thinking, but nothing ever happens. So i tried using a different search engine, Alta Vista, and I could actually search for something, but every single link would bring me to the same website, which was some real estate advertisement page. Any idea whats wrong with my computer. Everything else works just fine.

Sounds like a virus or someone messing with your computer.

What happens if you try other browsers? What browser ARE you using, and can you deselect addon-programs, like, extra searchbars and whatnot? Most likely malware.

Have you tried deleting/moving cookies to see if there's any change?

Delete cache

Delete cookies

Download brand-new browser (chrome for example or safari)

If possible try a browser in a virtual machine

Run a virus/malware scan

I have deleted cookies, cache, run virus/malware scans. I have Norton antiviurs and Safe Web. Nothing has come up. I can't download a new browser because I cant get to the websites.
