PVP ranged weapons

Whats the deal with thrown weapons, relics, wands, all costing 700 points, but bows, guns, and crossbows cost 3,400? What is the logic behind this? Thrown weapons have the exact same stats as the other ranged weapons.

Love the signature, but it may be due to the fact that those items aren't used (excuse me shouldn't be used) in rotations. Save for thrown weapons with Fan of Knives

Ranged weapons are the equivalent of the 2h/1h for other classes to a hunter. I agree it sucks we need to spend so many points, but the ranged weapon to a hunter is very powerful in comparison to relics and wands.

then why do we still have to pay full price for our melee weapon?

Cause the melee weapon also has a lot of stats that are good for us and they have them in good amounts. It sucks, I know...

I don't understand this either, they even fixed it back in the earlier seasons giving hunters a cheaper melee weapon and making it hunter specific. I don't see why they couldn't do that again. If warrior bitch about not being able to buy a gun (even though the thrown is just as good) then do the same and make a warrior specific gun
