After listening to them I was actually pretty happy with how they soumd, especially Everybodys on the Run. Such a nice, relaxing piece of music imo and not actually what I expected from him at all.
My question is, did he meet the expectations of you?
Do you think he will go on to be more successful than Liam and Beady Eye or?
The album was f*cking fantastic and I can't understand why he decided to put A Simple Game Of Genius as a B-side on the Japanese disc. But I guess I shouldn't be surprised(Acquiesce a B-side, I mean really?).
I realize that this post is old, but he has definitely surpassed Beady Eye in terms of success.
This guy is a lyrical genius! I'm going to see him in February and I can't wait! I wasn't sure what to expect with his first single tbh, I guess I was expecting it to sound like oasis since I'm a big oasis fan, but it doesn't, his new album is excellent and sounds fresh.
Yup, I couldn't agree more. I was a bit surprised by how it sounded, but I'm not complaining. I thought it'd be more "Half The World Away"-acoustic type songs but nope
