Question Computer freezed when i plugged my speakers in, what can it be?

Hello, recently found out a problem to my pc

the problem happent when i plugged my speakers to my pc(not usb), i had my usb headset in before plugged it off and plugged my speakers on
then the realtek window did load as normal when it was loading my speakers it just freezed out waited for 15 min to see if it would stop and it didn't
never seen the problem before so i want to be sure my system is still in good hands?

had wow minimized when i made the configuration (using dx11) heard it could be the problem

    it's a onboard soundcard

    GIGABYTE P55A-UD3 motherboard
    windows 7 64 bit

    bet is enough to know

    thx

Shut off the computer and plug your speakers in. Start up the computer and tell us what happens.

Usually when you change audio outputs by plugging stuff in and programs are already sending out sound it can lock them up. Try it without having a program running that sends audio signals and you shouldn't have any problems.
