Best videogame developer in the business

First off sorry if this has been done before, but I did a quick search and couldn't find anything similar.

Secondly this is completely opinion based and purely out of interest as opposed to having any real point.

Thirdly the limit is 10 on the pole so I'm sorry if your favourite developer isn't included but these are 10 pretty famous ones and tbh I'm trying to make a spread rather than say having 4-5 xbox/PS3 exclusive developers.

So go for it, which is your favourite developer (and if you have the time why)?

EDIT: Sorry for not including Valve, they are also one of my favourite developers, but with my overuse of Steam I barely consider them a developer at all (not sure why). I reckon Double Fine is the only really weak link in my list and would replace it with Valve if I could, crap pole maker is crap, sorry.

My favorite developer? Oddworld Inhabitants.

All of the Oddworld games have such unique stories, and lovable characters. Not to mention they are hard as hell. A 100% speedrun of Oddworld Abe's Oddysey? Just go break the disc in-half, so you've technically "defeated" the game. It'll save you a ton of frustration, money (mostly spent on alcohol and hookers), and time.

EDIT: Since Oddworld Inhabitants wasn't up there, I went to pick SNK because King of Fighters '94 was the start of a my love of fighting games. Then, I realized that SNK wasn't up there, so I picked Capcom because Dan = The Man.

Tbh the pole is mostly irrelevant. I'm more interested in people's opinions and justifications. Especially the more abstract ones that I might not have otherwise considered.

As for Naughty Dog I felt the need to represent PS3 exclusives in some way.

My reason? They made the Crash Bandicoot games and the Uncharted series. Just amazing games!

If I could chose more:Capcom for Onimusha, Blizzard, Rockstar(LA Noire, Red Dead Redemption and the GTA games) and Nintendo, for all my games when I was younger :P.

My choice would have to be Nintendo for some of the best games I played growing up but also liked naughty dog because of the crash bandicoot games.

I will give credit to Blizzard developers for doing Vanilla and BC. But the developers who maded WOTLK and Cata are just AWFUL. I think i've pooped better content. And who the heck likes dolts like Zarhym and Ghostcrawler belittling the community. I know I don't.
