That list that digglet posted? Not one of those games is based on an IP from the past decade. Like I said they redo things very well, but it's all been done before. It's not like any of those are even continuations of a storyline

Blizzard hasn't introduced new IP since the early 1990s.

And Diablo was IP that they bought 6 months before launch from another company that they renamed Blizzard North.

If Nintendo is a rehash of old properties, what does this make Blizzard?

Yeah right, Mass Effect, KotOR, Warcraft 3, Starcraft are totally bad games. These games are actually so bad that I was forced to mark them as the best RPGs and RTSs. But Bioshock, hands down, greatest game ever. Transparent story, mindless shooting, fallout rip-off setting and style make this game true king of all games.

Transparent story and mindless shooting, I might give you as that's your opinion. But Bioshock is completely unique from Fallout, and if all you see in it is '1950s gun game', you missed a ton of points. Like, what made the whole game. It's got the deepest setting and visual style any game has had in a long time.

Feel free to not like games; that's ok. But you just completely misunderstood that whole game.

i think rockstar are amazing at what they do... both with the real life story lines they pull of and the way they explain and convey them through smart and original gameplay... + the engine in LA Noire was AMAZING and truly advanced

Despite it's many problems, Blizzard is probably still the top dev in the PC industry. Nintendo is likely the best dev in the console industry.
