the first one definitely. And not because of nostalgia, but because it was simply the best-storyline,looks,humor,epicness

2nd because it brought the demon known as Miltank....fucking milk drink
The first hands down then the third(ruby and sapphire) coming in second.
isnt that with everything, first is the best
the second. when i bought and played Gold it just seemed so huge compared to Blue (2 WORLDS OMG, 16 GYM LEADERS WTF) and it easily became my most played pokémon game. i racked up 2 200+ hour saves at different times, which was a lot when i was like 13.
I loved the first but I also loved the second. The two regions just made everything amazing! I kind of wish I could have just continued my journey from the first into the new generations xD
First (yellow, blue + red) and second (Gold, Silver) those were the best. And they didn't have too many pokemon, so I know them all still
Only the stupid find peace of mind

First for sure. Persian/Meowth are love.
First, followed by second, and then I stopped playing it because it just got rediculously out of hand.
I played Blue back when I was young. I was obsessed with Water Pokémon and had ALL blue TCG cards IRL. I would literally trade rare pokémon to my friends for their more common blues just to have them. I was an idiot but I loved water Pokémon.
As weird as it feels.. being a bit older now, I downloaded a GBA emulator not long ago and got LeafGreen for it and i've spent more time on that the past some weeks than I have on WoW... Nostalgia FTW.

First, Second & Third. Going downhill ever since.
Gaze long unto an abyss, and the abyss will gaze back unto you.
I think the second. It was somewhere around it when I got into that. My first games where from the third generation, but I still felt more attached to Johto's monsters (due to anime).
First, Second and Third in that order.
I honestly don't know enough about pokemon to tell you and in fact I think i've only played one pokemon game at all, and thought the show was stupid.
However, I always loved Eevee and the eevee evolutions. I always thought it was cool that one little critter (cute too) could morph into all these different elemental critters like fire and water and lightning. I think it would've been more awesome if instead of being fixxed in any given form, if it could instead just alternate through it's elemental types to be a sort of Shang Tsung of pokemon, that would've been amazing. But anyway, that is my favorite, so whatever generation added it.
I like ponies and I really don't care what you have to say about that.
