My thoughts (and I can predict the future so this is 100% fact obviously): Deathwing will be the final boss. If N'zoth is featured, he may have a Halion type raid. Possibly he could also be a heroic only boss, but I think it would sort of be like Algalon - Yoggy was the main baddy, but Algalon is technically the final boss.

Lich King was the final boss of Wrath. Halion doesn't count, he wasn't a major patch, he was an introduction to Cataclysm.

Death Wing. I think this will be a short expansion and theyre saving the real bad guys for the next expansion. Probably we'll see an introduction boss for the next expansion, and likely an old god in the next expansion.

But this expansion is just about the drastic change to Azeroth, not about actually beating the real bad guy. Deathwing is just a pawn himself, a pawn of the Old Gods.
