    wow looks horrible on new rig.

    Just installed wow on my new comp, and it looks really horrible for some reason.

    all graphics are set to ultra and put at 1920x1080, before was mostly high, some medium at 1440x900.

    I cant work out why. everything looks more 'plasticy' and less shiny for want of a better description hehe

    is it the higher resolution just showing up the limits of the graphics or maybe im doing something wrong?

    Don't worry. Had this problem before. *all you have to do it so put it all to the recommended options and it'll be fixed.

    its pretty much how the graphics look. this game was not made for high end rigs.

    Make sure you have Downloaded/updated ALL your drivers, even something as a bad sound driver can piss off a program. But like the top comment said Please list your specs. If you want a very good and clean way to link specs download Speccy http://www.filehippo.com/download_speccy Also post a ScreenS of the game running.

    I have a pretty decent gaming computer. I have most settings on Ultra, still that doesn't do anything to improve the graphics of orc toes.

    Install/update gfx drivers.

    Test other games incase the gfx card is faulty.

    I didnt think spec was that important in this case. Ill try to post some screens to show the difference.

    I have the settings on Ultra and even then you can see the actual gfx card required is pretty low , I have found with WoW it is all about your processor speed and ram,
    Like suggested above test out other games , I have just started playing Crysis 2 on Ultra gfx settings to test out my new pc.

    The answer to your problems BTW;

    ummmm using a AM3 CPU on a AM2 slot lol. You will need to get new mobo and ram if you wanna keep that proc. And i fully suggest replacing mobo and ram because they are terrible. But yeah cant run a AM3 on a Am2 slot

    its not really the performance, more the actual look of the game
