ok i have a XFX HD 6870 Black Edition and i have a 700w psu. The thing is the gpu has 2x 6 pin connectors but the psu only has 1x 6 pin cable. I have found a adapter that takes 2x4-Pin Molex Connectors and changes them into a 6 pin connector for gpus. would this be ok for my build or do u guys have any other suggestions?
This is something that is actually common when you upgrade or don't really get the right PSU with a new build. I've never really had a problem with any power adapters.
