Have you ever had the urge to do something plain stupid?

This though popped up in my head earlier...have you ever caught yourself with an urge to do something REALLY stupid, and forced youself not to do it? Not so long ago I was in a media store, with lots of big, expensive and nice looking tv's, and I just got the urge to pick up a chair or something and smah it. I have no idea why, but I wanted to, and had to force myself to resist it.So my quesion to you is; have you ever caught yourself in a similar situation?

Oh yeah. I have weird completely batshit there's-no-way-a-sane-person-would-have-these-thoughts thoughts. Like "how funny would it be if I just punched my mom in the tits and ran out of the room" or "I should take all the food out of the refridgerator and climb in to scare the next person that wants a cheese stick"...my brain runs the fucking limits of stupid ideas.

I don't listen to any of them and rarely have to 'force' myself to not do them, but I think this lapse in judgement or rather lapse in good taste is crucial to comedy and comedians. I'm an actor, so after doing years of improv we are taught to 'accept and agree' and just roll with ideas that crop up in the brain. As fucked up as they may end up being :-P

When i'm on the balcony i always dare myself to jump. I don't know how it works, but i guess it's a counter mechanism to my fear of heights? Crazy stuff, i know.

And then there are times when i just want to punch someone in the face and beat the living crap out of them, that's a stupid idea i sometimes have a hard time not unleashing.

When i was graduating i walked up to our principal's car, and nearly went through with the idea of popping all the wheels.

Besides my house, there's the road, which is a long stretch. Obviously that means everyone has to drive insanely fast up there, which creates tons of noise for us that live there.

Sometimes I just want to throw things at those cars. Luckily I haven't, it could end badly.
