Graphic card, how much better is... ?

I currently have ati radeon 5770 hd. trying to buy a good one but cheap that's worth the money.
    was thinking of :

    ASUS Radeon HD 6870 1GB GDDR5

    PCI-Express 2.1, "DirectCU", 2xDVI-I, HDMI, 2xDisplayPort

how much better is this, or is it even worse? not that good on computer stuffs so would be happy for any serious answers.
    thanks

if you need to know what i have in my computer now: asus p8z68-vpro motherboard, 2x 4gb = 8gb ram. 2500k intel cpu. windows 7 64bit

what i want to achive with this gpu uppdate is to be able to play the new incoming computer games on a fairly good graphic.
I'm into Rift atm and playing on ultra settings im down on 15fps. the game has alot of settings that req strong gpu. but ofc im not running around with it, have some on low etc. ( but the game still has sweet graphics)

thinking of something around 150-160 euro. if u have any other advice, please add.

    1. XFX Radeon HD 6870 1GB GDDR5 "Dual Fan"

    PCI-Express 2.1, 2xDVI, HDMI, 2xmini-DisplayPort, 900MHz

    2. ZOTAC GeForce GTX 560 1GB PhysX, CUDA

    PCI-Express 2.0, GDDR5, 2xDVI, native-HDMI, DisplayPort

Added 2 more graphic cards. these 3 i have posted now is my 3 options i can choose from. the price differents is only about 10euro.
So what i want to know now if anyone can answer is: Which of these is the best one and why, for gaming. thanks

    Still a tough choice but I'd go with a 6870. Too bad OP didn't list a GTX560 Ti because I would've taken that in a heartbeat :P

    6870 beats the 560 (non-ti)
In case you are wondering, the 6870 is ~50-65% stronger than the 5770 you have now.
And it doesn't matter which manufacturer you get the 6870 from really, they'll all perform about the same.
If the radiance of a thousand suns were to burst at once into the sky, that would be like the splendor of the Mighty One... now I am become Death, the Destroyer of Worlds.
