    Is razor worth the money?

I'm just wondering if it's worth spending over 130$ on a keyboard or mouse from Razor. Are they really that good?

Razer naga is great, the lycosa keyboard you can live without though.

    No, that's my opinion.

Not really. If you are an extreme gamer then sure, it is worth it. Also, if you spend 3k on a rig and $20 on keyboard+ mouse, it isn't really worth it. You should be fine with some of the lower-end razer products if you want them. (Dethadder etc,...) Also, Logitech among other companies make very good gaming lines too.

Razer Anansi is amazing, Razer Naga is amazing. Nostromo/Lycosa are terrible. Cacharias headset is good.
Those are the only things i've bought though, so that's all i can help you with. THe Naga/Anansi and Cacharias were well worth the money though.

Razor Naga is great. Then again, it costs much less then 130$. I bought mine for 60 Euro, which is not much more what other comparable laser mice cost.

I swear by the Razor Naga, and I can't imagine playing without it. Admittedly, it took a while for me to realize the full potential of the additional buttons but it has definitely been worth it. Started off only comfortable using ~6 of the additional buttons...but now I use the entire gambit.

I'm personally not much fussed about the keyboard after having 12 (x3 - ctr/shift/alt) additional (i.e. not including the regular 5) buttons on my mouse. That said, I use the Logitech Wave keyboard because it is wireless.

Personal preference. :P I have Razer Orochi ( was using it with my laptop, now with PC) and bought Arctosa keyboard for my new PC. I'm very happy with both.

No razer keyboard or headphones are worth the money. Razer mouses however are, if you are looking at razer naga you should go try it out irl before buying it tho. I bought the original naga and my hands are too big for that mouse, so as soon as the razer naga epic was released I had to buy that because it is far more "big hands friendly"

Slightly better than the usual keyboard or mice, with lots of shiny plastic everywhere, most of the time they get dirty/dusty really fast because of all the plastic.

Had a Deathadder a couple of years ago, broke after 2 months...

And last month I thought about getting a BlackWidow, but I came to my senses and got a 6GV2 from SS instead.

Though if you have the money and you're willing to blow it on Razer, why not? They're better than the usual budget keyboard/mice that go for about $5-10.

I bought the Razer/Naga about a month ago for 100 after 2 yr insurance, 80 pre. I have to say is a very awesome mouse! so many possibilities with this mouse to get full potential out of it. that being said, it is worth it if you plan on gaming alot with it I use it for quake LoL and WoW and am very satisfied.

I have the razer naga epic and its great but if you use the wow addon with it, it takes a lot of getting used to. I have a razer keyboard, dont even know which one but its nice, I like the look and sounds of the keys. But was it worth the money....not really I could have gotten a MS keyboard for $20 and called it a day, just remember you always get what you pay for though.

Because normal mice and keyboards are made of anti-static platinum mkaay.

Side note, you may wanna change the topic name to Razer instead of Razor

I personally love the products and own pretty much all the top line stuff they offer but i must say for the price its not the best available solution , i broke many mouse naga and mamba and the quality of the microphone on the headsets are pretty bad though the sound is great ...

If you got the money go for it but you better know u will have the replace them more often than other product , but this is only my own experience with them .

The thing about the Naga is that I don't really need alot of buttons on my mouse. I work with loads of keybound macros and I'm very used to that. On my mouse I just need 3-4 buttons and that's about it. It just has to be really comfortable for long periods of time. Same goes for the keyboard, it doesn't need to have all those extra keys and it doesn't need backlighting. But it does need to respond really fast, and be able to survive hours of intense usage.

Only if you actually need all the buttons. If you're not going to use all the buttons, then there are much better mouses that you can get for the same or lower price.

On of my favorites I've tried is the Sidewinder X8. It has 7 macro enabled buttons and feels nice in your hand. I got mine for about $50, so they're not actually that expensive.

Also, the Naga isn't $130. You might be looking at the "Elite" one. Just get the normal if you don't want to spend $130.

However, while I personally prefer the Microsoft mouse at the moment, I might go and try the Razer Naga Elite (or Epic, not sure which one it is) soon. If I enjoy it, I will probably use many more Razer products from then on.

Also, they have great keyboards and mousepads from my experience.

I can vouch for the Razer Naga and the Carcharias headset, they're both really good quality and the naga in particular made the game a lot easier and even a bit more fun. However, DON'T use the included addon - instead, use it as an excuse to set up Dominos. With it, you can make a 3x4 grid set up just like the mouse, and hotkey it fairly easily to your mouse buttons. Also, make sure to slowly ramp up the DPI - don't go straight up to 5600, you'll lose your cursor. XD It takes time, go up by about 2-300 each time until you get the feel for it.

The razer naga yes for sure, there isn't a better mice out there. The keyboards are nice but any good keyboard from other brand would do the job.

Just to clarify, I don't need a headset. I'm using a Sennheiser headset atm, and I doubt there's anything that can compete with the quality of this thing!
