Hey, so I really need to update my computer because its getting old as hell. I would love some help making a good build that can run games on ultra settings and be around 1500 Canadian dollars not including monitors or keyboard/mouse. I have the case i want but can't figure anything else out.

This kind of stretches the budget a bit lol.. and doesn't include OS
You could drop the GPU's to 560ti's and save a bunch... 570's are about 20% stronger though.

I don't need an OS my friend has a windows 7 ultimate for me, and would that setup be able too run my three 22inch led monitors ?

right now intel's latest architecture (sandy bridge, any ix-xxxx) is far ahead of any of amd's offerings. AMD is coming out with bulldozer soon (i hope?) which should be able to compete reasonably well with the sandy bridge. Originally Posted by DemonSlayer

Price and performance. Generally you spend more on an Intel processor but the performance, especially in games, gives Intel the nod. It is trusted across the board that the i5 2500K is the best bang for your buck gaming processor at the moment. Originally Posted by DemonSlayer

Generally you get good information as simple as possible here. Also everyone has to start learning at some point so why not with your own build.

Mh 3 screens(1080p) might cause problems with a single gtx 570 at max/very high settings. ( He play at higher ress) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3axAyLLlHUc but still he has to script his Dirt to DX9. He wasnt able to run it in DX11 with a single 5970. With gtx 570 you only got 1,3GB DDR5 so you might run into problems.
