automatic running video adds

I think these are getting a bit out of hand. I usually visit this site with firefox, loaded with all the usual addons, so I didn't notice them. However, today I visited the site on Chrome, and there were automatic flash adverts that loaded every 10 seconds or so, at the bottom-right of the page. No way to close them down either, without blocking them outright.

I would like to think that you like people seeing these adds, without feeling the need to block them entirely. As it it, it has to be really obnoxious to people who don't use noscript type programs.
