I do it all the time, almost to the point where I'm starting to do it in public and people are all like: What did you say? and I'm like Ohh nothing. shiiit.

I only say stuff like "nice going [my name]" or "Here we are again". It's not like I go around saying "What a lovely day it is today, what should I do today, hmm maybe I'll go down and grab some food, hey, I could phone a friend!"

by talking to yourself do you actually mean outloud? if so then never as i said before, but what do you say to yourself? :\ i would just feel so wierd talking to my self, dont think i could bring myself to talk out loud to just myself.

It's mostly just thinking outloud, if I start having a conversation with myself I know I'm at the point where I need clinical assistance.

Like telling my ipod to stop freezing or my hair to stop curling in the rain.

If I'm alone i'll sometimes remark stuff to myself out loud such as 'hmmm.... what should i do today...' etc... if other people are there I'll keep it to inside my head though a couple of times I think I've mumbled to myself. I never argue with myself because 99% of the time I wont change my mind without quite a bit of persuading and so I cant see any alternative fairly often
