Hi all,
just ordered one of the new SSD 120gb drives from crucial, looking forward to reduced loading screens and bootup times in the near future
Anyone else tried one of the latest ones? its the 515 mb/s ones
Curious how much of an improvement over my 7200rpm spinpoint i will see

Well done,l huge improvment on loading screens, not so much improvment on booting..
Do u have a Sata 3 port on your motherboard?Got a Warlock as a main, a Druid and a DK at 80 as alts and lvling a Rogue..

That's correct, access time=speed. That's the main advantage of the SSD over the hard drives. Originally Posted by Hinaaja

Tbh im not sure, its an asus am3 motherboard which i bought back at the beginning of January so i suspect not, but i thought it was better to get this type of ssd so at least when i upgrade my mb and processor it will be ready to step upto sata 3
