It's simple, it's perfect. Like T3 without Power Rangers.


But most importantly it's silver. And to my stereotype, knights have to be silver. Btw Archeus (Duskwood quest reward) is a great sword too for paladins.

So, that's Dungeon Set 3 found in TBC heroics. But there are some WotLK rep alternatives because RNG can be a bitch
Helm of the Righteous or Helm of Purified Thoughts (Argent Crusade Exalted)
Breastplate of the Righteous
Gauntlets of the Righteous
Legplates of the Righteous or Standard Issue Legguards (Argent Crusade Honored)
Spaulders of the Righteous
Greaves of the Penitent Knight (there is no set version of this)

The sword is Truesilver Champion

This set is also available in silver/red from different TBC factions (PvP gear) and some odd recolors, like the Gorloc faction in Sholazar Basin have a silver/grey version of the shoulders, but imo this silver/gold version is the most paladin looking

I think I have finally found a matching sword to tier six, so this is what I will be going for! The weapon might be a bit plain, but I like the color matching with the rest of the armor. Now if only I found blue/yellow, VERY long cloak.

You put it as if it was bad to use a plain weapon. Imo plain weapons fit paladins much more than those huge dark things with thorns and skulls and evil flames of darkness empowered by twilight magic.
There are few ornamented weapons that fit. ToC might be a good source for items fitting that set (even though it could be that you can't access them either as horde because some loot there was faction specific iirc) Maybe http://www.wowhead.com/item=40405 or http://www.wowhead.com/item=44005 could be an option too

You are absolutely right, they sure do fit better. And I also think that all these straight, beautiful swords fit paladins much more than carved/curved weapons – sadly, majority of swords in WoW seem to be curved, from some reason.

The Penant Cloak looks pretty damn cool, I will try getting it. Thanks!

Oh god this awful set. Hurray for customization, but I'm afraid how horrible people are going to look like, coming 4.3.

Or, in short: I really really hate most of the classic sets tier sets, the two dungeon sets, the AQ-sets, T7, and all the recolours in karazhan and BC-heroics.

BC started amazing sets.

It's Lord General's Sword, I have been browsing all one-handed swords in WoW Model Viewer the whole forenoon and this was the best sword I've found.

My second option would be The Willbreaker, probably.

The only real problem with Maladath is that it might be a bit intricate for the cool looking, but still rather simple set. My personal opinion is that Maladath looks better with the light sunwell plate items.
