    New Notebook For University

I've been shopping and stumbled upon this notebook that I really like but maybe some insight on anything with better performance at least under 500.00 dollars CAN.

    Toshiba Satellite C650-00F

Well, for under $500 you won't get anything good. All screens in this category are garbage, you sacrifice a lot on the processor and on-battery-time. Toshiba notebooks are generally well put together, I just can't stand the screen.

Performance-wise it should be able to run wow, especially if you don't intend to do 25 mans. Obviously don't expect fluid framerates.
    Correlation does not imply causation.

Thanks. I just need something that will focus on Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint while listening to music and browsing Facebook.

You'd be hard-pressed to find a better deal than this under $500.

I might just be challenged, but I can't see a price for the laptop in the Walmart link.

I've seen them enter the market but they are easily over what he is willing to pay and expensive for $650-750 imo.

Oh right.. I saw a few in the FS/BB flyers.. But I don't think NCIX or other good e-tailers have them yet.
