Majordomo cat pounces

Just curious majordomo pounces on people in cat form based on there spec yes not how far they are?

Its based out range however. He will never pounce a melee unless everyone is in melee ranged.

We've had him ponce healers, range, melee that were out (taking orbs) so it def. isnt spec bases.

Correct. If you are a pure melee class you won't get targeted. Any healer or ranged spec can and will be targeted regardless of where they are standing. An elemental or resto shaman will get pounced on while an Enhance shaman will not.

He won't pounce on melee unless there's a range/healer spec'd person in melee. Has nothing to do with range.

If a healer stands with the melee you will get pounced on and wipe the raid.

If you have DBM or Big Wigs or something, it will tell you who he pounced on. If you keep wiping due to this, one of those addons is probably always catching the culprit, and you'll notice it's usually the same person.
