I was thinking of one of those stress clown things where you squeeze it in your hand and the eyes pop out. I'm not sure a kitten would find that too interesting, maybe I teach the cat to jump on it and watch the eyes pop out.

Picked a bouncy ball, one of those red/blue ones. Really old style. My cat, a Flame point Siamese actually fetches like a dog, so I guess I'm set.
