First night on Rag10N and Molten Seeds

    Got past that

    http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/...1#post12978771

We used L2R's (vodka's) tactic of spreading around the circle. The seeds were doing too much cumulative damage and always wiping us... what can we do? Side to side?

I've had success at the side to side tactic, all stack on one side then switch to the other when seeds come out blah blah blah.

Normal mode seeds don't hit hard at all, make healers spam the raid and pop raid wide CD's for damage and healing. Also watch out for smash and engulfings, that may also be effecting the raid.

Both methods work, you just have to rely on healers getting the job done. Vodka's healers are far above your average healer. So the side to side might work more effectively for you all. Good luck on downing Rag.

Pop raid CD's to help out, or personal CD's too.

Make sure your raiders run to the middle stacking point asap, with healers spamming AoE heals. Having a CD rotation could make it easier to make sure you have enough for every Molten Seed "phase". People normally don't die, unless they are too slow at moving to the stacking point or if the healers fail at AoE healing tbh.

Side to side is easily the safest way.
    Bleh

i would use the side tactic. Everyone go to the left side and stay spread...once seeds spawn everyone run right as quick as they can when they spawn on the right side run left, rinse and repeat.

For normal, you should watch the seed timer and run away in a group, either left or right when timer is on 2-3~ seconds. If you are really pro, you migh aswell run when it hits zero to avoid failing. A side not about Deadly Boss Mods which we discovered during our last night Heroic attempts; seed timers in DBM is 1.8 seconds late. So either calculate that or get BigWigs if you havent since it's the absolute accurate one

We stay on the left untill seeds spawn, run somewhat to the middle and aoe the ads down, then we just run back to the left again until the next wave of seeds.

    5 left, 5 right
when seeds spawn cuddle in the middle
when seeds arrive protpally glyphed holy wrath
then holy pally glyphed holy wrath + locks bane of stunny thingies
when the holy's wrath ends the bane kicks in

we get very few melee swings form the seeds that way

healers need to have their ground effects up right before the dmg goes out and just have to spam like crazy. We do the 'run to the middle' tactic and we also use raid cooldowns. Disc barrier, Shaman spirit link totem, Druids tranq, Paladin tanks raidwall, and personal CDs are always useful there too. Most raid comps will have at least 2 maybe 3 raid cooldowns for that phase, just alternate using them.
Was hit with a nerf bat!

Are people spreading out 6yrds? On normal it shouldn't be too much damage for the spread and group tactic.

Yeah well, we got past that, but this time we hit a real BUMP. The meteor phase..

Probably the most intense phase/encounter I've ever done so far in any raid.

The damage the seeds deal when they explode diminishes as you get farther away from them. Just split your raid as far apart from the stack point as you possibly can and you shouldn't have any more problems. The player closest to our stack point is maybe forty yards from it.

On the few 10m rags i have done we start on the left side spread out 6 yards, when the seeds come move to the middle right ish so the adds have to run further, after this spread out on the right side and stack on near the middle left side , pop a raid CD if you really need it but you shouldnt have to. Slams and engulfing should always be avoded
