If you could do a RealLife "reroll"

So, this questen goes trough my mind for some time. First. I don’t know if there was a thread like this topic in the past, but this question really interested me.
If you would get the chanche to live your life again. Would you do it? If you do, would you do the exact same things? Or, what would you change? And if you get the chanche to switch your gender after the “restart” would you do? Or maybe some other things you would chanche. Told us

Personal for me. I would do it, because there was some things in my life that would’t be bad if they never happend. (two accidents, one which I was close to death, not that nice experience :>) And call it strange, but I would switch my gender for sure. (Everyone has his own feelings with this, don’t judge me). I think if would be really interesting to see the life from the view of a girl. And Iam not that happy with being a man, like the most others I think, it is ok, but if I would get the chanche to switch, I totaly would. Like I said, don’t judge this, everyone has his own opinions on that, but this isn’t the main topic of the thread!
But the most things I would do again, but at some things I would try to make it better. And yes I would start playing WoW again too, it was and is a nice time and I meet so many nice people, some of them I visit in rl also. And I would directly choose a job which fits me, and not first making the total wrong decision.

So what are you thoughts about this? Maybe you have some other nice aspects of this, which I didn’t think about. I'm looking forward to your replys

I think I would not. I have not done anything I regret enough to make me want to go back and change it nor have I ever done anything I'm ashamed of.

Would I have all the knowledge of my former life to learn from? Or would I simply restart my life with no information?

If I could learn from my past life I would definitely do it.

Only thing I would change, is I would have never started smoking. I truly believe everything in my life would have turned out differently.

Hmm, well i would like to get ''another chance'' i think i would reroll in a Japanese midsize town, and yes i would go girl that time! would be cool to live 2 whole lives once a gender, that would be a usefull experince i guess.

Really hoping that you keep your personality / memories if you reroll, else how would you know who you have been before?

It is an interesting concept, but you need to elaborate on the conditions of this "reroll" a bit better, like Pendulous said, if you retained your past life's information and experience, i think i would too.

.... and oddly enough, yes, i would switch my gender to female too...

I would rewind and fix something horrible I was doing to somebody who never deserved it.

Nah, the only things I could possibly see myself regretting is permanently disabling/handicapping someone, or being the cause of someone's death. I'm fine with my life as is, don't regret anything because I've learned from my mistakes.

If only i could turn back time i don't know if i should...i have done much that i deeply regret and undoing those bad deeds would be really good for me and for those i put in pain / let down, but when i had done those things, would i have to repeat al those years from then to now? that puts alot of consideration in the greater picture.

Also i think this needs some...

The gender question is a hard one; so I'll get it out of the way first. It's really hard to pick the one or the other on that since I don't really know how the opposite gender is like to be. It might be the worst experience ever or the best experience ever. Out of curiosity I would most likely be very tempted to switch gender.

If I could restart; with the assumption that I can hold on to a certain level of current sense of the self with all my values... I would in a heart-beat choose to restart. Because there are matters I regret some of which I would do all I can to undo them. One of the most prevalent once is my early captivation with gaming. I was seven or eight when I started gaming and while I was an intelligent and empathic child, at the age of fourteen I lost all interest in everything, but gaming. At this time I was completely captivated by gaming, my personal well-being suffered under it enough for me to be at an unhealthy weight for a long stretch of time. I did not care to socialise, so the only friendships I had were based on mutual interest in gaming, which doesn't make for reliable or sturdy social relationships. This lasted till I was around eighteen. When I started to lessen, but it was still relatively bad. When I got twenty-one I was able to break completely free from my captivation with gaming.

But most of all, a restart would give me a higher probability of more years to enjoy living life.

If I could retain all of my knowledge and experience from my previous life, yes. Otherwise, I'd likely do the same thing over again. :P

I'd love to restart in high school, and actually apply myself better in my academic classes and focus less on music. I'd actually study for the ACT and start taking it early. I'd go to school on full scholarships and fly through college. I wouldn't let myself get fat, I wouldn't let my mother lie to me and steal my money, and I wouldn't get stuck in serious relationships with people not worth my time.

    I think..that i'd do it.
Would still like to stay a man though
I'm quite comfy with my gender.

Reroll, because there's some things that i do regret that i don't want to happen.
Then again, it may be regular teenage problems.
But then i would know when i'm a teenager again, right? ^^

It depends on if I get to redo with any of the knowledge of this life. The problem is if you do not, then you are not likely to do things differently. The only reason you would think that you would is because you know what happens if you don't.

So if I would have some/all knowledge that I've learned, definitely, if not then no I wouldn't. With that said if I could change genders to female, I'm not gay, and I'm not unhappy as a man, but I definitely would consider myself having some feminine traits and also find that I relate much better to a woman's point of view. Although cheesy and cliche, I feel like I'm a lesbian trapped in a man's body.

The main thing I would change though is just remember that you have nothing to fear in social situations. People can be total asshats, but you will never know what the actual outcome is until you try. Trying is always better than not taking a chance at all. At this point in my life my social issues are very much ingrained in my persona so it is very difficult to change them now, I think if I could have recognized them much earlier I could have developed much better coping mechanisms.
