    Grado SR60i
    Audio Technica ATH-AD700 (Think they're like $90)

Both amazing sets of can's for your price range. For the love of god, please stay away from Skullcandy\Beats. The only people who say they sound good are people who haven't heard a good set of headphones, and therefore have nothing to compare it to.

The only good thing about beats is the cables feel nice.

    Seriously, I love those cables.

See if this link works for you, OP:

For my money, I'd go with the Sony MDR-V6 or MDR-7506. Good construction, and really nice sound, AND it falls in your budget.

Thanks so much for that first Link, I did some searching around and I couldn't really find anything. That link is awesome though, and I'm glad you suggested an Amazon one that is awesome.

You're welcome. If it has reviews, read them thoroughly; input from people who have used the product can be invaluable.

The Dr. Dre headphones are actually pretty good. By far better than your average headphones an a lot more immersion. But not worth the price tag. If I could get them for around $50 I would. Nope, they have to be $200.

I have a friend who uses them, tested them once and was instantly put off but the amount of sound leakage. Seriously, every1 in the entire room can hear what you are listening to, the leakage is so bad, that it even goes through the mic, which is very annoying on Skype, etc.

Comfortable, but they're in the same league as Skullcandy, Bose, and the Dr. Dre headphones. You're paying for the name, mostly...

    Stay away from:

    Dr Dre's / Beats
    Skullcandy
    BOSE (not as mad though)

    Look for:

    Sony
    Sennhaiser

Sony xb500/700 if you into bass stuff like dubstep, electronic, hiphop and alike with alot of bass requirement
Sony V6's have bee around for 20 years or w/e and apparently still beastly and fairly good priced too.
