    Build for a friend

This friend is only going to play WoW, he isn't even going to play it on Ultra, he has limited money however, up to 430 euros.

I made this build wich will be in his budget range:

I think it's okay, he said as long as he can play it on decent graphics with more then 30 fps he will be happy. Otherwise he will use his pc for chatting etc.

    Resolution?

Also, the H61-motherboard is an intel Sandy Bridge motherboard, wheras the AMD phenom is obviously an amd cpu. Not compatible. I'd also put a little bit more oomph on the GPU, GTX460 1GiB or HD5770 depending if you can stretch the price. Changing the PSU to something more inexpensive and with about 450w would be a good start, and dumping the ODD.

The RAM is 12800, and if memory serves me right that's 1600MHz? Drop it to 1333MHz or even 1066 if it's a budgetbuild.

Wow, ty for pointing that out. Have the same one but an Intel i5 cpu in it however, thought it would be okay.

Too expensive, really can't stretch it that far.

For World of Warcraft, I would suggest going for an i3 2100. It has superior performance in WoW.

If you cut down on what Tetris suggested, i.e. the RAM, ODD and the PSU (the Corsair 430W should suffice) you can use the extra cash for a better GPU, like the ones listed. For WoW, I believe the 460 performs better, but the 5770 should be cheaper afaik. Check here for more info: http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/172?vs=156.

Anyway, where are you from/what site do you plan to buy from?

This better? And they don't sell 450 at the site where I buy at, besides, CX series is overrated and the 500w is actually 450 or so. :P

What you are planning, given an i3 2100 and a GTX 460, will pull around 330W at absolute full load. The Corsair 430W PSU will be sufficient. The build looks better, but I would personally not go for Kingston memory, but rather Corsair XMS3 or Corsair VALUE.

Actually, I had a closer look at that Corsair PSU (CX430) and it seems to deliver 336W on the 12V rail, which will be a bit slim. To be safe, I would go for something like the Antec VP-450. It has 2x 12V rails that deliver a total of ~430W. You will sacrifice a bit of quality and reliability going for a cheaper PSU, but it's better than a no-name brand PSU. The Antec VP-450 is made by FSP afaik.

Scrap the Corsair PSU, replace it with the Antec Basiq 430w

I really cannot push in the GTX460, it simply can't fit in the budget.

Hm, alright. As the 450 pulls about 60W less than the 460, the CX430 will be enough to power it.

More like mid-high to ultra, depending on solo and 25m-raid.
