Option 1: Firstly you shouldn't train a muscle group 2 days in a row and you shouldn't train a synergist muscle group 2 days in a row unless you can't help it, but if that's your case you may want to optimize your routine. If you can work through the pain without compromising form and weight then that's fine but if the pain is that severe hold off or train something else that doesn't effect that muscle group. It's always important to know the difference from muscle/joint pain from exercise and muscle/joint pain from damage.

Option 2: Use google to find legitimate articles either from experienced trainers or scientific studies because I can guarantee you that 99% of the people in the gym don't know what they are doing and the same can probably be said for most of the people on this forum. If you are that serious about training do some thourough research or risk wasted effort or worse injury.
