Shiny Corsola, heh. No complaints there. (I would have prefered a Huntail though)
Well, consec fishing is just very easy to get some shiny pokemon if you're at least a little good at it. Most of mine didn't come untill 150 casts which is sort of high but still easy.
Is the rumor of having a Mon from a diff country/region gives you a better chance to breed a shiny true? I managed to get a Jap Ditto off Wonder Trade (Serious nature wich is shit but still). I already have a Modest Cyndaquil anyway so i can just everstone him instead, i'd love to try to get a Shiny Typhlosion.
Yup. Just stand still and cast. If you don't hook anything, or reel in too slow or too fast, your streak is reset. Basicly means it's impossible to do without having a pokemon up front that guarantees(almost) a hook. Which also means it's impossible to hook a shiny with a decent nature on top of it, but that's not really what I'm after either way.

Is a nice explanation.
Edit: Shiny Octillery. LOOKS UGLY AS HELL. :I

Shiny Remoraid... see how ridiculous consec fishing can be? Time to cash in on GTS for some legendaries I don't have yet.
Oh yes, the radar can be an absolute menace. No room for error and much more frustrating to break a streak.
I was bored so I'm playing through Pokemon Yellow. xD
Right now I have:
Bird Jesus (Pidgeotto) - Lv. 33
Abby K (Charizard) - Lv. 36
Vaporeon - Lv. 28

PM if you add me!
Same thing was discussed a week ago I think. Back then I was told that it was still just a rumour and has something to do with the shiny chances from the MM being increased in the current gen in comparison to the last one. So an older gen Ditto would have a smaller chance according to the rumor.
