There should be a friendly or hostle mob named groot and if ya kill him, you get his mini version and when you do a pet battle, he becomes larger than your usual pet

Ya, it's abilities are lackluster for sure. Also, they missed out on an opportunity to make a grass/fairy, considering it gets grassy terrain and a number of grass-type moves by level up. It's Flower Veil would have been an amazing ability as well! Granted, maybe the reason they kept it from being a grass type is BECAUSE of it's ability. A Florges that couldn't be burned or poisoned might just be broken as well with how bulky it is. Originally Posted by Bullettime

Also, with it's stats and movepool, it essentially fills the same role as Sylveon, except it doesn't have the hype of being an eveelution nor was it a big part in the marketing of the games themselves.
