It's obvious that you didn't understand what I wrote. I never mentioned quality. Legality is not how much legit a pokemon is. Legitness ONLY refers to its origins: hacked or not. Legality refers to its traits. If a charizard has natural cure, it's illegal. If it has blaze, it's legal, even if it's not legit. Grasp it already!

If you want a serious physical wall, get Ferrothorn and laugh at everyone's face.

Not sure a physical wall weak to fighting is the best idea though. Especially with powerful physical attackers like Conkeldurr and Terrakion.

I love using this Ferro though:

If you remember some days ago, Dewote posted a screenshot of a totodile with Sheer Force as its ability. This totodile is legal. It is technically able to get that ability. It is not legit, however, as we know that totodiles with Sheer Force were never released, and thus it's surely been created by an external device or programme, and is obviously pokegened (hacked).

I do understand very well what you are talking about. I am just telling you how the words are currently used, nothing more. If you make a trade with me for example and I tell you that I have a legal totodile with sheer force, I will be expecting you to understand by yourself that it is not legit. That's the whole point

Legality was introduced to mainly determine if some pokemon sets were illegal in battling or not. Just off the top of my head comes a certain Gliscor set. It was using a certain berry which the Gliscor could not have if it had learned some certain moves. Due to that, people were using the moves WITH the berry back in the day. That set was illegal, because even if the Gliscor knew moves it could normally learn via many means, it could not normally have the specific berry due to generation restrictions on items.

That's how the term and meaning came to be.
