The speed ev does not matter THAT much unless you are running trick room. In 99.99% of battles, the extra speed could even help.

That's my next goal, planning on going for a Magic Guard one, preferably 31/0/31/31/31/0. I'm guessing magic guard is what makes it a good trick room user?

Actually, if it's just going to swap in and out I might want to go for regenerator. Need to see if I've got a HA Reuniclus lying around somewhere.

Oh I don't think I have a favorite character from the cast... I mean, I'm partial to beasts, so Kimahri Ronso holds a place in my heart, but the entire cast is very likable (to me.)

And hey, something cool: I stumbled upon the trivia the other day that the guy who voices Wakka (and also Kimahri) is the same guy who voices Bender! John DiMaggio.

The only item i can think of that would work well is Weakness Policy with EV HP max, SP.ATK max.
Hyper Beam (turns into ice) + Thunderbolt (against water) + Psychic (against fight) + Hidden power Ground (AncientPower?/Freeze Dry?/Flash Cannon?/Dark pulse?)

When it becomes possible to get it with Snow Warning it would be a bit better, as you could have fully accurate Blizzard instead of Hyper Beam + free weather effect.
